4WD SPECIAL TOUR

DAY 1
LA PAZ-ORURO (4 HRS)
Departure from the city of La Paz (3.600 mts high) on a paved road
. The landscape is tipycal of the Altiplano in the Andes . Arrive
to the city of Oruro (3.800 mts high). Hotel
This first day is for chek our motorbikes.
DAY 2
ORURO-JIRIRA (8 HRS)
We continue on a paved road as far as Challapata village , the green
high land near Titikaka lake disappears to becomes de desertic land
, in the way we will pass Huari village, sanctuary of Quillacas,
Salinas de Garci Mendoza village . Finally we arrive to Jirira village
near the shores of the salt field of Uyuni. Basic lodge.
DAY 3
JIRIRA-ISLA PESCADO-SAN JUAN (7 HRS)
This journey we traverse the salt field of Uyuni in the way we will
visit the Fish Island were we can see the giant cactus (Piloes cereus
selcianus), fantastic panorama of the salt field. After cross the
salt field we pass the the Colcha K village then we arrive to San
Juan village . Basic Lodge.
DAY 4
SAN JUAN-LAGUNA COLORADA (8 HRS)
Early In the morning we drive cross country trough the Siloli
desert in the way we visit the famous ¨arbol de piedra¨
(tree stone) the landscape is panoramic, after pass differents lagoons
we arrive to Laguna Colorada where there is a concentration of hundreds
of pink flamingos. Basic Lodge.
DAY 5
LAGUNA COLORADA-LAGUNAVERDE-ALOTA (9
HRS)
After 1 hr drive we arrive at the crater of ¨Sol de Mañana¨and
its intense volcanic activity. After 3 hrs we rech the banks of
Laguna Verde in the base of the Volcano Llicancabur then we continue
to Alota village in the we will pass the valle de la las rocas ¨Rocky
valley¨ Arrive to Alota village. Basic lodge.
DAY 6
ALOTA-UYUNI (4 HRS)
To Uyuni village, passing on the way San Cristóbal mine ,
before arrive to Uyuni we visit the TRAINS CEMENTERY. Arrive in
Uyuni (3.800 mts high). Basic Lodge.
Free afternoon.
DAY 7
UYUNI-TUPIZA (7 HRS)
This journey we drive down through temperate valleys to Tupiza small
town (2.900 mts high) , a showy place with a charming climate fantastic
panorama of the red color mountains. Arrive in Tupiza . Hotel.
8 DAY
TUPIZA
Short treks in the Inca canyon and the valley of the machos.
In the afternoon visit el sillar espectacular view of the colorid
mountains. Return to Tupiza town. Hotel
DAY 9
TUPIZA-POTOSI (9 HRS)
Journey to traverse the temperate valleys and the high lands fantastic
panorama during the trip. Arrive to the city of Potosi (4020 mts
high). Hotel.
DAY 10
POTOSÍ
In the morning visit the cooperative mines (optional)
In the afternoon visit the mint house Museum ¨Casa de la Moneda¨
DAY 11
POTOSI-CHAQUI
3 hrs drive to the hot springs of chaqui. Basic lodge.
DAY 12
CHAQUI-SUCRE
4 hrs drive on a paved road through the valleys. Arrive in the city
of Sucre (2.750 mts high) Hotel
Afternoon for visit museums
DAY 13
SUCRE – TARABUCO
64 Km to the south from Sucre at an altitude of 3.284 mts high.
We encounter the legendary village of Tarabuco that knew how to
maintain their
customs the ñampara Culture. After visit this tipycal marked
we return to the city of Sucre
DAY14.
SUCRE -LA PAZ
10 hrs journey for a good paviment road , we will pass for the city of Potosi , the city of Oruro and some others small villages , during the trip we wil observe the fantastic high plateau ¨altiplano´, arriving in La Paz the fantastic view of the snow mountains of the Real Range. Arrive in La Paz. Hotel.
DAY 15
transfer out.

that special spirit for adventure that want to travel to different

-If the participants want to do something different or have
something special in mind during our tour, they must give us there
suggestions, for we aim to please there desires.
-We consider the tours in 4WD ; because that gives them enough
time to really appreciate the places we visit.
-The guides and assistants at our agency MILLENNIUM ADVENTURE
EXPEDITIONS, all have experience treating with disabled people.
REQUIRMENTS
The participants must send the
following information:
Name, nationality, age, gender and the type of disability or handicap
that they suffer, given the case, the tip of wheel chair, or any kind
of orthopedic device, the medicines that they use and the instructions
for there sub ministration and if necessary a detailed list of the
diet requirements that the person must follow.
RECOMENDATIONES:
A personal assistant is optional in the
following cases:
-If the participant is self sufficient (this means)
-If the participant es partially disabled (by the lack of a member)
but uses an
orthopedic instrument and can take care of his or her self.
-If necessary knows how to administrate his or her own medicines.
- If the participant is partially disabled of the lower members, that
require the use of a wheel chair, but do not need assistance in there
personal hygiene, medical sub ministration and or food administration
A PERSONAL ASSISTANT MUST BE PRESENT:
If the participant is completely crippled.
