BRIEF REVIEW

CLASSIC TOUR

HALF-DAY TOUR COOPERATIVE MINES. IN THE RICH HILL OF POTOSI

In the morning among 08:00-08:30 o'clock, in a bus we go by the different Hotels to gather the tourists that chose the tour to the mines. .

Already all are gathered, then we go to a small house of the Area ¨San Benito ¨ in the city of Potosí, we need the protection team to enter to the mines, : helmet, jacket, pants, rubber boots, lamp and already.. All clever ones to undertake this it magnifies adventure that maybe is the dream of many nights after the tour.

In the car we go to the mining market of the ´CALVARIO¨ or the market of the miners, where we can buy without any problem of restriction. ¨DINAMITAS ¨, coca leaves, cigarettes, coca cola, and alcohol for present of miners , each tourist with their respective present and thinking if they are really prepared to see A NORMAL DAY OF WORK OF THE MINERS ………..

All the tourist with presents to continue..., we ascend in our transport , firstly we visit the INGENIOS (where we can see the minerals proces), more o less one an a half hour of visit, then we continue toward the mine ´CANDELARIA´, at the beginning all very shy and a little nervous, clear ones this it is the unique experience in the world , helmets, boots, lamps,etc..... to enter, we wait the exit of the cars metaleros that they come out... with hurry for really to feel the true hard work...

Our local guide speaks English and also Quechua to understand the Tourist and the miners .We never know to that hour the cars loaded with mineral are crossed... that it can be a catastrophe.. if our local guide is not there to attend us uyyyyyy, it would be terribblleee,

We continue we enter to the black tunnel the distant lamps they glow, we advance very slow at the beginning maybe all about 100 or more meters, but avoiding the cars metaleros some times always happened implacable, then we find a place or space for a rest and really where we put the tired knees , the great door of the Museum inside of the mine opens up, where this clearly explained one the sequence of the mining in Bolivia.... uffff, fantastic. Unn great place, now if... you want more continue.... and we really continued toward the level 2 uffffñ the air it is very little, some friends tourists with claustrophobia decides to abandon, but the flag of the nations reigns... we continue toward the level 3 for small passages true tunnels we slip until deep hole, Where the tourist arrive to the last part of the mine is as putting a flag in the moon.

The descent was relatively hard.. now we have to leave.. will be very hard, our energy are to the border.. we continue until seeing a small light to the bottom... as in the tunnel of the life my friends....., it is the law of the life, it continues to the light there ¨ it is our salvation ¨, and suddenly all wake up to the reality... we are healthy and very happy for this new experience , we leave the mine, but.... that it passes with those that work daily there.......

Before returning to the city of Potosí an explosion it is made with dynamite... BUUUUUUUMMMMMMMM, all OK, return to the city until downtown.
